Great news Ronen.
A simple transcode or not by file option. This will be very beneficial when deciding how to watch those troublesome files on different devices.
I also note that “TVersity is free of charge for HOME users for NON-COMMERCIAL use. Please contact us to purchase a license for other uses”
Does this mean that Tversity may remain free for home use when it is finally out of beta
Looking forward to the moment when will we be able to view our Album Art on devices/applications that support it, such as Media Streamer on the Nokia Internet Tablets which can be used as control points for UPnP rendering devices.
Thanks for the teams tireless work throughout 2007, looking forward to 2008 TVersity developments.
PS I really like the latest icon/banner for TVersity, which would look great reflected throughout the application in my humble opinion.

The new logo is very nice. To be honest, I hated the look of the old one. Good job on the updates!

Thanks, although I have noticed with the update that the connection drops mid-way through when streaming media to my PS3? Hope this will be fixed soon.
But thanks for the ongoing support for this fab free product!

when copying movies to my ps3 it will only copy the same file size as the original. it will tell me the file completed the transfer, but since the conversion to mpeg1 makes the file nearly twice the size I end up with half of a movie. Hope this you guys can figure this out soon. I am starting to get the shakes from withdrawls.

@kristofer: Windows Firewall, try adding an exception for MediaServer.exe (found within the TVersity install directory).

Hi, I recently have a PS3 and I decide to install TVersity as Media Server. No problem browsing movies but nothing to do with pictures. I can browse folders but all appears empty. ¿? Any reason for this? Thanks a lot.

Loved the product until now - have recommended it to many friends.
Now V11.4 broke with my PS3. Won’t play videos any more - just get the message “Corrupted Data”. Not sure what to do next - where the problem might be. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Thanks

Simple solution. My PS3 wasn’t running the latest 2.1 code. I update itb and all is sweet.
TVersity rocks!
Thanks guys for this fab product

Love the product. One issue that has come up is that on some of my home videos the audio sounds like a record playing at a slower RPM (if you can even get that reference). The rest of the audio works fine. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Tversity works awsome except for the fact that it will only play videos half through, then it pauses them. For example, it doesn’t recognie a 40 minute show as 40 minutes. It thinks it’s 20 minutes. Someone please help me!! This is becoming very annoying!

TVersity 9.11.4 works OK streaming to my PS3 v2.1 except that it will not play large files, is that a known limitation? 1 GB 1080i .m2t works. Same format file that is 9 GB in size does not work.

Great software , BUT..
I have same problem as David: Now V11.4 broke with my PS3. Won’t play videos any more - just get the message “Corrupted Data”. Not sure what to do next - where the problem might be. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I HAVE the latest PS3 firmware 2.10
I’m really desperate now!

Hi,
My PS3 (at version 2.30) will only recognise TVersity if I restart it while the PS3 is on. If I switch the PS3 off and then back on again it won’t find the Media Server unil I restart it.
This seems a similar problem to Kristofe - who made it work ‘after some settings in my wireless router’.
Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Looking better all the time, just getting the hang of it. Anyone know how to play the AC3 stream from a dvd folder of .vob files (decrypted, still in ts_video format)… I don’t see audio preferences, and the PS3 doesn’t really play these AS a dvd, just as mpegs/vobs so no ‘dvd menu’ that I can figure out.

When I go to store the software on my PS3 it asks for storage media or something like that. I have 40 GB of storage on my HD. Will this software not save on my PS3 HD and if so then how do I set that up?
